Default New metal parts for HL Leopard 2A6 from Taigen!

Hey fellow tankers,
I got a new package today of parts for the new HL Leopard 2A6 tank. We have no plans for a Leopard, but I made a fuss about getting everyone some parts made So here I present the new Taigen upgrades for the Leopard....
Metal Drive Wheels
Metal Idler Wheels with Bearings
Metal Suspension
Metal Road Wheels with Rubber Tires
Metal Tracks

I ordered a Leopard to show them off to you guys. Here are the pictures below:

Here is the slideshow showing a few more pictures: http://s1336.photobucket.com/user/im...%202A6%20Parts

No, these are different. I included a picture of the road wheel disassembled below:

Haha no, then I wouldn't have any! This tank will be getting some upgrades soon, probably steel or brass gearboxes and a new radio system. Then it will go on the shelf with the others.

OK I have a set on route from China, and when I get them I will check them out against these pictures. These have bearings, so that is good, and the ones I ordered are supposed to have to, so it will be intersting to see how similiar they are.

The pictures look good and these are a nice add to elevate the HL Leopard 2 to Tamiya parity. The difference between the torsion bar suspension and the HL style, does not matter much to me as I don't see much of a perfomance difference between the two. Metal wheels, rubber tires and bearings though, are a pretty nice upgrade.

So I am sure these will be wanted. I know I couldn't wait, and ordered a set as soon as I found they were avialable somewhere!!!

Cheers

We definitely need a supplier stateside. Ordering from China makes me nervous and I have little patience waiting over 2 weeks for an order.

Those look pretty nice. Any chance of a "super supreme" track where the pads are real rubber (and replaceable)?

That's what I'm saying...the metal tracks as they are now don't look right at all once the paint wears off of the "supposed" pads..

Yea that is a heck of a long time to wait... with no updates either.

Most probably not, the Leopard isn't currently in our future plans atm.

As for pricing.... I did a bit of digging around and even managed to get part numbers too
TAG120351 Metal Tracks - $129.99
TAG120352 Metal road wheels with rubber tires (bearings also on the road wheels) - $129.99
TAG120353 Metal drive wheel and metal idler wheels (with bearings) - $34.99

I am going to love this tank when i can afford to buy one. I can't wait. I also really like the idea that Taigen is smart enough to have already had the upgrade parts on the drawing board before they released the tank. they must have for them to be available so soon.

This is the exact reason why I want to make the Impact tracks work... Metal pads that are suppose to be rubber that will wear shiny, That don't jive with me.

Metal running gear looks nice. I'm with mcm308 and dirtybird on the tracks. Hopefully, the Impact tracks work out...let us know how it goes.

Or just use the tamiya tracks, rubber pads, unbreakable and way cheaper than the impacts.

pictures of real Leopard A2 tracks.
HL is still a little tiny bit off from details.
But with this kind of price, who cares

Is it possible to use Taigen metal upgrade for HL Leopard 2A6

Metal Idler Wheels with Bearings
Metal Suspension
Metal Road Wheels with Rubber Tires

with Tamiya Leopard 2A6 and its original tracks?
