That looks very good. How did you make it? I'm working on a Tamiya Leo 2A6 and want to add this and slat armor...I bought a 1/35 PE slat armor kit and plan to upscale it.

Here is a really boring video I did describing how to make identification tarps out of paint, You take this same idea to make these Barracuda blankets. I used my wife's Olfa rotary cutter to cut wavy lines in the dried paint blanket and then attached the layer to a previously done layer

Spray these paint blankets with Windex and the paint will conform to whatever it is covering. It works like Decal -Sol on decals

This is a really good technique for making canvas tarps as well.
