Dan,

Where did you find the info. I saw Tamiya's blog on Nuremberg, but otherwise it seems to be vendor information online.

Your mistaken, the spoiling is NOT over there is more to come. I might even suggest the British folk might be freaking out in the not so distant future

Hi Bad news for me will have to build more shelves to hold these if we can get the hulls and turrets we can change what every needs to be changed to make more different models I can make 17lb barrels .
Come on spill the beans what is the British Tank (seen the chally 2 photos ) is there a WW2 tank coming out .Churchill or Comet or Cromwell. Even you guys in the States would like some British armour wouldn't you ?

regards pete

I think Mato is really going to be watching the sales numbers on these. They have produced something new that isn't German, and should have some market appeal.( At least we think it should) If the sales numbers are not there, don't be surprised to see them back to German armor.

As IMEX have stated, even after all this time it is the Tigers that generate the most sales.

I think sales on these will have a whole lot to do with pricing. Not everyone can afford Tamiya tanks, and these will be at leat that much or more when all is said and done. Adding electronics and such will drive these into the thousand dollar range.

Actually no, that chally was a photo shop, everybody knows the challenger is coming, it is just when?. I can not speak of exacts but from time to time i get asked what sells, what would sell, what do people want. I am by no means saying I am special or have a direct line to anyone. But when I am talking to a manufacturer and they say as an example they will have metal T34 tracks ready I am pretty sure a T-34 is coming in the future. ( you don't make parts for non-existent tanks )
its not good for me to spill any beans until the makers want to make their announcements. After all confidence selling and buying is way more important than starting a rumour

Damn straight!

I'd like to start out with the Lee and the Grant, then a Churchill and of course, I could go on and on.

(and the Challenger 2)

These tanks have been priced in the past at about $500. I think that price is attractive. A plastic Heng long with Metal suspension and wheel upgrades upgrades or a Taigen tank are in that price range so the price point seems OK to me, A Taigen tiger is close to $500 without electronics.

We will just have to wait an see if the market is ready for this. I hope it is. The nice things is these aren't metal copies of existing tanks we have seen before, so from a sales point of view these are not competing against a lower price plastic version, and from a customer point of view these are truly new tanks to the market place,

I think Curtis was referring to one of the earlier photos where someone photoshopped a picture of a Challenger 2 on a HL box in a hobby shop, not the pictures of the real model from a later hobby expo.

Any chance you could link photos for those of us who don't have an account on that forum?
