Default help needed

Yesterday I stopped by a friends house the sent me an email with pictures of his finished King Tiger that look absolutely stunning, and with that he had ask me if I could stop by and give him some help in figuring out why his recoil is not function, where all else everything is. well to my surprise he has this new Futaba 6js transmitter.I am unfamiliar with!so I called another friend that at the time was at work ,he gave me a quick synopsis, but of coarse I didn't get it! So can I ask for your help! Thank you for your responds to the fix.

Does it fire (cannon sound, gun muzzle flashes)?

If yes, you have a recoil circuit issue. It could either be an electrical issue (broken wires, loose connections, stuck microswitch) or a mechanical issue (jammed recoil gearbox, gun barrel too tight in barrel sleeve).

If no, you probably have a radio configuration issue. Re-run the MFU configuration, and take particular note not to push the stick all the way up or down for the elevator channel (push it only 2/3rds the way). That's a simple way to "cheat" the MFU into firing the guns.
