Default Epoxy Tip of the Day

how many times have you used those 5 min epoxy syringe type dispensers and they don't come out evenly from each tube, then you mix them both together apply it to what you are gluing only to realize hey not having the same amount of both parts don't dry to darn quick.......don't know why i didn't think of this early i guess it didn't upset me enough to do something about it, so i cut the darn sections to be on their own...now i can put the same amount from both tubes....

What a great idea!
I have exactly the same issue with my epoxy tubes. I'm going to cut the middle section too ... muhahaha!

Hell I thought EVERYONE was already doing that! LOL Seriously, good tip... I need to start publishing mine from now on.

Actually I have graduated to the separate bottles and the clear dixie cups to mix with. With arthritis hitting me I now can saving my knuckles for other things and focus on gluing things together. I bought my separate bottles from Tower Hobbies and they dispense so much more evenly than the little tubes.

It's an investment but I won't run out either!

Hi Panther F
Really appreciate that Tip, I have arthritis too, and trying to squeeze out those syringes is a challenge, even with the connector cut. Visited my local hobby shop & picked up a Zap Xpoxy bottled set.
Thanks
Mal

I think I will be doing the same myself! I have been using that 2 part epoxy forever and hate it!
