Look down at the bottom of any of those pages and there's more cool stuff. Did you see the 1/8 Panther?

You come up with some really cool stuff, Jerry. If only I had the money! :-)

I really like the M 26 flakpanzer ---- that could also work for a Walker Bulldog. Thanks for the project idea.

OK, I think this is the one

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Flakpanzer-M2...item27f7cdd125

I have two of the torro M16 halftracks with that same quad .50 set-up and just last night I was thinking about pulling the quad .50 out of one and making it into an M3. Rex, if you're serious about building one of these flakpanzers maybe we could work something out for the quad .50 parts, or maybe you'd be willing to give me a little guidance (not the first time for that ) and I could try my hand at doing a flakpanzer. Especially if you do a build log on yours so I can flagrantly and shamelessly copy the efforts of someone much more talented than I am. Maybe even get myself one tiny step closer to being a scratchbuilder.

Got it and the two other variants they sell. Their Elefant kits have gotten better since first released.

I think I'm turning just a bit green with envy.

It sure is a beauty, and with the current exchange rate this would be a good time to buy, but nothing will keep me from my Jagdtiger. Once that's in the bag I just might have to start saving for an Elefant. Or maybe after an Opel Blitz. Or maybe after a Tamiya Sherman. I just hope I live long enough to get every single one on the list.

maxu52 .....

I would be happy to share this project with you, but I think I better not hijack this "interesting items" thread and just start a separate thread. I will use the title "M 41 AA Bulldog 6x6". That should make everybody say ***? Also, feel free to flagrantly and shamelessly copy anything I do. I have no permits, patents, trademarks or copyrights. Heck everything I've ever done is a copy of something. I've never had an original thought in my life!!!

Very Cool. I'll be watching for that, and doing some scheming of my own. I'll order an M41 upper hull so I can swap between the new and the stock, and I'll get on to Kevin to see if a Mako board and a Geko might give me decent control of the quad .50s. I could probably monkey it up with the existing controls, but for turret rotation speed and elevation speed the MFU will pretty much just supply on and off, dead stop and go like crazy. A Geko might be able to tone that down a bit if the Mako board has the necessary functions. Kevin will know. If not I might have to get another RX and put it on the 9X radio. Any way I go it won't cost very much and I always like that part.

And for me it will be two cool projects because I also get to mod the M16 into an M-something-else (there's lots to choose from, I think from 2 to 17!).

I agree about starting a new thread, but I think this would probably qualify as an "Interesting Item".
