Default Jagdzombie

I have got to quit rummaging through my parts boxes and wondering how I could use the odd stuff I somehow collected. In the past I have acquired a few sets of HL panzer type track from friends who upgraded to metal track. That's where this thing started ----dreaming up some sort of a road wheel rig, and then pasting parts on top of that. I may have gone overboard and cluttered it up with too many miscellaneous parts, but it's only a toy, and I'm just a kid (at heart). I'm gonna pretend it was an end of the war attempt to use up spare parts to build an improved Elefant or E 100. I call it a Jagdzombie because it's built from spare body parts that I dug up or recreated from styrene at midnight during a recent thunder and lightning storm. Actually, it was just raining a little, but being truthful is not my strong point.

ARGHHHH ----- IT LIVES !!!!!

Very cool! Upper hull looks like a German Su-76. Lower hull looks post WWII. I like the sprinkler pipe and the Panther engine deck.

Hey .... sometimes it amazes me at how easy it is for things to get out of hand and change from a silly to a serious project which ends up to be a silly project anyhow. There are only about 6 pieces that were true spare parts. The rest is styrene and resin parts that I cast using latex molds that I made for some other project in the past. I like building goofy stuff like this because no one can ever say "It's not to scale, it's not historically accurate, it's the wrong color."

What a great build. Imagination, inovation and skill all combined to make a truly unique model. Well done indeed.

Thanks for your comments. I get more fun out of this hobby than anything else. It's my therapist and I am thankful that I "discovered" 1/16 scale r/c tanks. The members of BAT, Kellys' Heroes and this forum are responsible for my addiction to this hobby. I have always said that it's never too later to have a happy childhood. I just hope I don't need to wear diapers again when I build something.
Thanks to all ....
