Looks really good. Have you thought about one of those little pedestals with the info on it? That would really make it look like a tank displayed in a museum.

Max, made a pedestal and got an engraved plaque on ebay. Looks really nice. Bought two plaques since they were only a few bucks each. For me the black with silver engraving looked best. They are 1 in by 3 in. Have one left over that says World War II first line and German Panzer IV. If you want it will send it to you free for the idea. If so just send me your address and I'll mail it to you. Or a friend of yours might want it. Ken

Hey Ken, this is the kind of pedestal I was talkin' about. Can we see what you did for yours? If you've still got that plaque just say so and I'll PM my address, and thanks a lot, it sounds pretty cool. I'm thinking on the edge of the shelf I display the PIV on. I've got the same tank as yours and I have big plans for it. Already did four shaft boxes and metal roadwheels, and I've got a metal hatch set, metal cupola, metal headlights and a metal tool set, too. Just need the time! Just got two IBU2s in the mail so naturally those will be next. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm gonna get an IBU in the PIV. I could use a clark, but I really like the IBU2 much better. If only it didn't take up so darn much space!

Made the base with pieces of wood and didn't like it so am not using the base part. However the plaque turned out really nice. Still have the other one so PM me your full name/address and I will mail it to you. I mounted my plaque right on the wooden base. ken p.s where did you buy all your metal parts for the PIV?

I got most of my metal Panzer IV parts from my buddy Imex-Erik!!

I always check with Erik when I start a new project, just because he's got all kinds of cool stuff stashed down there in Florida and you never know what wondrous parts he may have on hand.

Yes, I'm like a chipmunk stashing whatever I can Today I'm finishing up the 360 kit tutorials and the Jagdtiger manual.... Here in a few min I'll show my jig for motor/gearbox/track testing in the lithium grease section. It is very simple but works great! Today my new phone is supposed to arrive as well so more videos will be incoming shortly!

Is a 360 kit one that coverts the current turret so that it can rotate 360 in either direction?

Yes, it comes with a slip ring and a new ring gear for the turret so you can make your turret go round and round and round and ...

Yes, but not the container we're waiting for. The last one didn't have slip rings or gearboxes or Jagdtigers, but that one will be next, right Erik? Maybe mid to late June?
