Default ??Daryl Turner??

Has anyone heard from Daryl Turner? I ordered and paid for an Elevation arm for a Pershing on Sept 19.
I have not received it or heard from him, I also sent a recent email. Just wondering about other peoples experiences with Daryl Turner.

NOT to question anyone's intelligence but did you receive acknowledgement from him and did PayPal show it was accepted?

I pretty much know Daryl very well and he's not one to skip out on anything, let alone a small purchase like this. I have seen him on Face Book recently.

Let us know and to help you out I may have one laying around you can have although it may be the IMPACT design.

Saw him at Danville a couple weeks ago and am in contact with him usually daily through club email so he's around. Did you order through him directly or ETO? If through ETO he's just the distributor and may have not received your order through Bob.

That is Willy Loewer's site. Willy has been slammed with work and not 100% sure if he's been able to complete orders. Will check on that for ya.

Most of Daryl's stuff is available at ETOarmor.com Like his PzIV arm. Any part with a DP in front of it is made by Daryl.

We've been out of the P4 arm for a while, I'll email Daryl about getting some more made up. Don't know how I missed that outage.

Daryl is fine. He's been doing my shipping since March and things are going extremely well. We joke that we should have hooked up years ago.

So when ordering from that site, I get emails and requests for payment from Bob Hearn. So that is Daryl's web site not Bob's??

CORRECTION "His" meaning ETO Armors = Bob Hearns website.

Daryl's parts on Bob's ETO website. Daryl does not have his own site for parts.

I've been selling Daryl's parts for over ten years. Daryl and I have known each other since summer of '03 and as stated earlier we are collaborating closely, actually we've done so for some years now. Daryl is great people, salt of the earth. I have great respect for him and his abilities and I have never had or heard the slightest complaint concerning his products.

Shorty54, if you wish you can order the part from my sight, the part is in stock:

http://www.etoarmour.com/product_det...productID=DP14

While my order form sent to you states the order will ship within three working days the norm is Daryl ships generally the day he gets the order from me. I'll work out whatever is needed with Willy. I opened ETO not to make tons of money but to get quality parts to my fellow tankers, whether I know then or not, in a timely fashion which at that time was nigh near impossible.

yes , this is my shop-site for Daryl's parts since he doesn't have his own website .
usually I receive the orders / payments and then forward that to Daryl and he ships the parts .
if you may noticed , if you click on any other parts it will show [email protected] in the shopping basket .
To expedite orders plus not loosing any money in the transfer ( my Paypal account to Daryls Paypal ) ,
I had started recently to modify this section so payments would go directly in to Daryls Paypal account .
so far I did this just for this elevation arm .
would you please forward that Paypal-confirmation to my email , it may could be that he never received a copy of your order ,
since I had heard from him recently that he has sometimes issues with this cs.com email
sorry for this confusion

kind regards

Willy

Shorty54, if Willy can get this part to you in a reasonable time from today then please disregard my offer of ordering the part from ETO. I don't particularly care if the part comes from the Man in the Moon as long as you get the part in less than a week at most.

its taken care off in the meantime . it was a glitch with Daryls CS.com email , he never received your payment confirmation , but it did show up in his PayPal account .
He has already issued you a shipping confirmation and he will ship your elevation arm tonight .
Sorry for this confusion .
I just discussed this with Daryl , we will use a different email for him in near future ( for these shopping-cart buttons )

I just wanted everyone to know that I was not badmouthing or degrading Daryl Turner in any way.
There ended up being some confusion and mixed up issues with emails and such. This forum is
great. My issue has been resolved and I'm a happy customer! Thanks to all that took the time to
quickly respond and get this worked out for me! Again, this is why this forum is so great!

As long as you get the quality part you need, that is all that matters. I for one am quite pleased that all has ended well and you will have your elevation arm shortly.

Shorty, all three of these gentlemen are some of the most reliable people in the hobby so no worries ordering from any of them. That is part of the problem with our small part of the RC hobby. Many of the parts and items we need are home made more or less and the infrastructure to market and sell them is what it is. Sometimes nothing more than word of mouth. Glad all is taken care of.
