Default Next tank options??

So, the time has arrived where i "need" another new tank. I have probably 3 options, took a week to narrow it down to only 3

In current order of preference -

1. The new(ish) M4A3 75mm Sherman, the 2mm thick hull version in either Taigen or Torro brands, probably from Tankzone, if i can get the over the top price down a bit or if i can locate another UK stockist....

2. The big Torro Jadgtiger in desert camo, love the look of this beast (airsoft version)

3. A "Full metal" Taigen T34 in green,

Tankzones exclusive Sherman version is still the TAG13040/5 model i think, but with a slightly different paint job, i'll probably go for this, the tracks are beautiful, the price is the only thing thats concerning me. i know that the extra spec will command a higher price but i feel that certain stockists are taking advantage

All nice tanks, however, some of your countrymen don't have good things to say about your possible place of purchase. You may want to check around.

If you want to spend your hard earned at "TANKZONE" that is of course your business, I used to buy from them but when I bought a full specification TORRO Tiger 1 they ripped me off to the sum of £470 which is still outstanding,
Forgebear has a site on E-BAY and a web site-
[email protected]
He is an official TORRO and TAIGEN dealer, You have my promise as a very satisfied customer you will get a fair deal whether you buy a Tank or a cable clamp, His E-BAY site shows everything but Tanks (With a couple of exceptions) speak to Dave on his web site he is a straight up guy,
Of course there is another British TAIGEN dealer who will look after you well that is -
www.welshdragonmodels.co.uk
Steve of Welsh Dragon is another one of the good guys, so you see you have a better choice than you first thought
.WWW.rctank.de
.Is another reliable supplier of TAIGEN Tanks as well as parts.
shaun.

I'm by no means a fan of tankzone, far from it but thanks for the heads up. They do however have something of a monopoly for certain items within the UK market, i feel that they exploit this.

But..I can't find another UK stockist!

Thats if i decide to go for the Sherman

Yep Steve at Welsh dragons a good guy, bought quite a few bits and bobs from him. Just a pity he doesnt sell tanks. He's generally my first stop for upgrades though

Got a few things from RCTank.de - decals, oil drums, water cans etc, but for buying a tank its far too far away for me, i'm way too impatient. In saying that though I do really like their Panther G's

You could try Welsh Dragon models also if he is still in business and i believe he is. I would get parts from him here in the states in only days. Fastest shipping i have ever seen and I still dont know how he did it but excellent service and a good inventory.

I think I must be missing something. Maybe it's the GBP-EUR-USD conversions, but I bought a Torro King Tiger Pro-Edition metal version in the wooden crate from Torro Shop shipped to the US for $610.00. It arrived FedEx, in perfect condition and I can't help but wonder why more RCU members choose not to order direct from Torro Shop. The crate that they come in is certainly worth a few extra bucks and you can't beat the service. Just sayin'...Oh, I also ordered 7 of the Torro Shop German soldiers to go with the KT and they cost $114.03 shipped, that's $16.29 apiece. What am I missing here? I do realize that I didn't pay VAT, so maybe it's only a bargain for Statesiders.

I've ordered and talked to all 3 of these guys and I couldn't agree more, top notch service and even very reasonable cross-ocean shipping rates.
