Tank Commander Source?

I ran across this seller on ebay, from the Russian Federation, and he has good looking resin tank commanders at fairly reasonable prices, and this guy
http://www.ebay.com/itm/131722852997...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
that sits in the side hatch of a PzIII or IV and I'm thinking about picking up, but Jeff's got me paranoid about buying resin because I don't want to rip off any of the creators, so I'm asking if anyone has dealt with these guys and if their stuff is original and legitimate, or if they're copying someone else's stuff.
Does anyone have any info on this?

I've never seen that one before, it looks like a good cast.
Two things that lead me to believe it is not a pirated piece is there are very few figure companies that make 1/16 armor figures for display (not RC) and they almost always include a part of the tank as base.
Couple that with the fact that he has it photographed with a model under construction (pirates don't give a rat's arse whether it fits anything), I think it's a tanker with sculpting skills offering his product. There are a lot of talented sculptors in Russia, a bulk of WWII figs are creatted there.
All that said, I'm not endorsing it, don't know the quality of the cast or resin, but I think it's a cool sculpt and you can buy it guilt free.

I think I'll be the guinea pig on this one and pick one up. I'll let you guys know how it works out.
There are really quite a few good figures out there in our scale, it's the half figures for the tanks I'm having trouble finding. I've tried a few of the usual suspects, like Asiatam and matomart, but I'm still looking for something better.
I'll keep y'all posted.

It's similar in theme to the Asiatam PzIII/IV set (http://www.asiatam.com/product_info....anzer-iii.html), but different in detail (head looking in over different shoulder, etc). That's the only figure I've seen that looks like that one.
Same guy has a few other good TCs: http://www.ebay.com/sch/koleso884/m....p2047675.l2562

I've not go loads of knowledge of S&T miniatures aside from the fact there were a lot of questionable origin figures coming out of China on eBay. I think they may have been discontinued going from blurb I read so it might be they are recasts but if they are I don't think the originals are in production
