Default TK22 help needed

OK, this is for all the Clark TK22 gurus out there. While waiting for some glue to dry on some other projects, I started working on a recurring problem (at least to me) I have with a TK22 Clark board. After being killed (it happens a lot to me), when the board turns back on, it reverts to mixer setting 1 with super spin. I do not use that setting and prefer mix 3 without the super spin. I have saved my preferred settings to both preset 1 and preset 2 multiple times, but it continues to return to mix 1 after being killed. If I turn the tank off, it goes to my preferred settings again. How can I change/fix this? What have I missed?

Hi Herman, that is a weird one! Never heard of that happening before. Will have to get Jordan our resident club expert on the case...

Are you sure it isn't a radio issue?

No, I'm not, but it only does it after being killed. When I turn it off and then back on it goes back to the proper setting. Clark wants me to send it back to him to investigate the problem.

Yea, Herman I spoke with a couple of guys in my club and we have never heard of or seen that particular sequence happen. Send it back. Clark is good for fixing and returning at basically no cost or at the very most $10.00 if it is our boo boo...

I will pull it and send it to him after the battle weekend at Danville on the 24th. We have a 2 month break which should be plenty of time to get it back before the next battle.

Hey Herman, have you considered building a model of the new experimental Marine LAV? I'm not sure what it is called or even if they plan to actually build and field it as there was some debate about it. but it is a very cool vehicle and would make a great addition to your collection.

I did think about it, but I have a lot on my plate right now and have to make another trip to Chicago too. I may pursue it in a few months though.
