Default King Tiger Almost Done

Here are some pics of my King Tiger which is my second tank. After my first attempt with a Heng Long Tiger 1, I realized how much I had to learn so I spent a lot of time on YouTube trying to learn weather techniques. I wanted to try them on the Heng Long King Tiger you see here. I still have detail items to install and touch painting with a brush to do but I am actually very pleased with my results.

So, please let me know what you think.

Very good work sir

I would say some scratch marks on the edge of the sides and around the turret where they are rubbing there boots against it climbing up. Just a thought.

Thanks for the compliments guys. As I said, I still have a fair amount of detail work to do but I'm happy with the progress so far. I'm so glad for YouTube where I was able to learn the basics of weathering. Now I'm looking to purchase a new turret and upper for my Tiger 1 to dress it up to a more realistic tank. Keep the suggestions coming, I'm all ears!

Weathering is fun but people forget these tanks were pretty much new in 44 and 45. When did the first tiger 2 roll off the production line and when did the war end?
