Default Tk22 issue

HI GUYS
To anyone who has successfully hooked up the clark TK22 board to the newer 2.4Ghz Leopard A6,I finally got around
to installing the board, no issues with the lower hull ,got the tracks to work in all directions although there are a few
minor issues like sound and back lights that remain unsolved,i also read that i will have issues getting the airsoft gun to work without some rewiring work but that is not my immediate concern,my grief is with turret rotation motor, when i plug the turret harness to the board it starts to run immediately at high speed with no input from the left stick!!I I can get it to stop by moving the trim lever but then i get barely any movement at all...any ideas guys?A few guys from here really helped me out before and it is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Okay - welcome to the Clark TK22 upgrade club - these things are not plug and play and require a bit of technician work to get running well. My experience has been that the 8 pin connector as supplied in your Leo is probably not wired to reflect the needs of the TK22. I have had to completely re-wire my Leo 8 pin connector so that it matches the connections on the wiring diagram on clarks website. Try checking this out first.

cheers

Hi guys
As suggested by captain B concerning my 8 pin connector and turret rotation in the 2.4Ghz Leo, does the rewiring involve changing the order of the wires in the plug or is there soldering to be done to get turret rotation,I will not be using the airsoft as my tank is mainly set up for fpv with micro cams in the appropriate apertures,I checked the clark website as suggested but could not find the part addressing the turret rotation issue ,any ideas on how to get it done guys,as always your inputs are greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi JMM,
Yes - you need to look at the wiring diagram shown on Clarks website and in particular, the 8 pin connector. turret rotation is pins 1 & 2 for Clark I think but in my HL's it was 7 & 8 so you have to move the pins. You cant just plug the connector in the other way round as it is foolproofed.check the other connections too as these will probably have to move as well. & don't forget to do the wire mod. which Imex Erik did a video of - all on Clarks website - just view it and look carefully for the information.

Good luck

cheers
