I did a test run with the ZTZ99 after doing the gear boxes and idlers and all was good. Pulled out the electronics and put the bracing in. Put it all back together and went for a test before putting the top back on. Now forward and reverse are good but left and right are backwards. Then the gun started to fire all the time. Tried a few things like unplugging everything but the speakers and motors from the board and cycling the power. Any suggestions? Its all Taigen radio.
Thanks

If forward and reverse are fine but your left and right are reversed then your motors are plugged in backwards
Swap them and that should fix that issue. For the firing you might want to check the contact switch on the back of your airsoft unit, if the switch is touching it will continuously fire. Try to fire the tank a few times, it might stop. The contact switch is pretty sensitive with our system so just be aware of that. You may need to open the contacts a bit if they are touching, but there is a better chance it is just stuck in the middle of a recoil, hence trying the firing sequence once or twice to try and reset it.
The plug beside the power is for the High or Middle mount motor gearbox while the outside plug is for the Low mount gearbox. Hope this helps!

Yeah. Regarding the continuous recoil/firing. Had the same thing happen in my son's HL Jadgpanther. Turned it on a continuous seizure of cannon sound and track recoil... The contact was touching.

Well I flipped the motor wiring and it swapped forward and reverse. There is no upper hull on it yet as the test was to make sure the driveline was good before putting the top on. It fires all the time with nothing but the motors plugged in. Going to work on it a bit today if I can make some time.

Got the drive worked out by removing the anti track recoil unit. It still makes the cannon firing sound all the time but after installing the top the airsoft unit fires just like it should. So I just turned the sound down and ran it a while. Really runs well with the new gear boxes and the lipo in it. Nice speed and good power.
