well, pritty much just going to get everything hooked up ( turret and recoil - elevation to see that all is good ) and just paint it as good as I can. Need to get a few of my tanks beyond the 80% 'done' mark, haha.

So no crazy detailing ore stuff like that , get everything to work, paint it , and just enjoying watching that hvss getting a workout

I assume that's a taigen hull and turret on a Tamiya chassis. I just helped a friend do the same build with an upgrade chassis I traded to him.
You need to cut the fenders off and make new ones or salvage some from a Tamiya hull because the EZ8 had full fenders out to the skirt flares

Good tank. My buddies came out great. The taigen fits the Tamiya chassis so nicely.

The front fender that faces forward on your model is only the width of the hull because it came from an VVSS hull.
The front fenders should go all the way out to the side skirts on an EZ8.

I cut front fenders off a Tamiya hull and gave them to my friend to attach to the front of his taigen hull after cutting his off, at the same time he installed the side skirts.

Here are two pics of my friends tank. A taigen upper on a Tamiya chassis. Look closely at the front fender width how it blends into the side skirt.

Really fun interesting thread. A cool gathering of Sherman builders here, with their usual top work; for sure.
