Ironically, the Leo has the largest motors (540's) and gearbox but it is very light.

What made the difference for me was tread. The KT/T1/Panther tanks have a deep tread that seem to make more of a difference than weight or gearing.

The aggressive track typical of German vehicles of WWII definitely makes a difference.
