So, I have asked around to see if the new Taigen steel GB could fit inside a Tammy Sherman lower hull? I know that there will be some modifications in applying the unit into the lower hull, (drilling out new holes) but overall does it fit without compromising the Tammy lower itself? Thanks for advice and help gents.

Anything can be made to fit, the only issue I think you might have would be the offset of the main shaft. The Tamiya uses a wider drive wheel so you could potentially have alignment issues.
