Henntec JS2 idler
#2
I haven't installed one yet Joe, have heard the instructions are a bit vague. Here's the website with a pic or 2 that may help or hurt.

My Feedback: (1)
Seems that there is only one hole in the mount for the idler to bolt to the tub. That hole lines up with nothing on the tub, no matter what position I put it in. I am thinking a new hole needs to be drilled which is sort of silly being that holes are pre existing for a mount. I will scan the instructions when I get home Sev. Don't have them with me at the shop.

Hi Joe,
Here are 3 photos of the Henntec System from ETO installed on my Leo 1 by Daryl. I discovered an unmodified Henntec System is not strong enough to hold idler track tension for scale heavy metal tracks. The fix recommended over on rc tank warfare, for running heavy scale metal tracks, is to add a good flat spot on the idler axel and replace the grub screws with cap head screws. This allows you to get a better grip on the shaft and prevents idler slippage and firmly locks in idler tension.

Yeah, the directions and images send with mine made it look so complicated but once I looked at others build it was a lot clearer then.
