Default 38t electronics

Can anyone help this electronically challenged tanker figure out how to install the 5 wire electronic package for a 38t on to a 4 channel Rx?

From 35rctanks? Here's the pdf for the manual. Looks like the 5ch if for just the stabilizer which wouldn't be used on the 38T.

I'd be interested in hearing your impression of this Herman, coming from a guy who has done more than just assemble kits. How is the sound and would it benefit from a larger speaker PLUS... what is the quality of the plastic parts?

The quality of the plastic parts is good with a lot of detail. The lower hull is built up fronm7 parts and is rather thin for RC as is. The parts do go together well, but pre-fitting is a must. The RC kit does include a hull stiffening plate that helps a lot, but the instructions for the RC kit could be improved. I strongly recommend using one of the Henn-Tec adjustable idler setups. Drilling out the tracks is a real pain in the ass, but the RC kit does give you the pins. I am trying to make an adapter so I can use the machined sprockets I use for the Hetzers along with the metal track instead of the plastic stuff. Also there is nothing on how to make the return rollers functional. Shouldn't be to hard, but it is not addressed. Sound isn't that great as is, but I do not think you can put a larger speaker in it than what is furnished. Maybe a better one, but not larger. I also suggest grinding a flat on the axle shafts for the drive sprockets. The kit stuff slips on it otherwise. The recoil servo on this one does not work. I can not use another servo because it turns the wrong way to bring the barrel back. Everything else is working great. Oh, putting the led in the MG is also a pain that requires you to cut it in half and drill each section of it out. That is about it so far.
