My Feedback: (1)
I happened across this item for sale "over there" - advertised as a rubber pad for the Sd Kfz 9 18 ton halftrack
Sd.Kfz-9 (18-t) ,Polster,Schwerer Zugkraftwagen,Wolchowfront, WW2
Looking at the rear side of this piece one sees this:Phoenix, Hamburg in a diamond. Appears to have been made 3/41 if
that indication elsewhere on the piece is a date
Now I'm always interested in knowing if companies that made items during WWII are still around or not.
In this case the company is indeed still around: Phoenix AG ? Kautschuktechnologie although now owned by Continental
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_AG
Boring to most people I imagine, I find it interesting!

One of our fire dept. trucks is running on Continental tires. They are still around.
