I guess that model of the LAV is a popular model to give away for a rebuild. I have been given two basket cases by friends who were cleaning out their stash of "things the kids played with". So far this is one that was a fun project. The second one would be a good project for a burned out missile range target.

Looks good. I've been waiting to see what you were gonna do with this. Are ya gonna give it decent motivation? Better electronics?

Next time our guy crosses the bridge I have a bruder truck and some odds and ends for ya.

What kit is that? Looks like a nice knock-arounder in the yard

I just did a Google search for ---- 1/18 scale LAV model. It came up with a bunch of photos and sources.
