I have some 90, 96, and 108mm tires but they are all 12mm hex. They would actually look really good on these.

They're hex, but tiny. Like 5mm.

What about the tire size in mm? A 12mm to 5mm hex adapter should take care of the mounting, I'll compare to what I have here.

Mine was a bit over $58 for two trucks but I had about $1.80 in gearbest points that I used. Are you registered at gearbest? If so, make sure you sign in before adding trucks to your cart, and if not, it might be a good idea to sign up. I registered at Hobby King and after ten orders I got platinum status and get a small discount on every order.

The excavator is pretty sweet I watched a few videos on it and determined that it's gonna look really good on the back of my semi. I bought the 2 trucks for my kids birthdays and the excavator for myself....there gonna be so mad

Got my first from gearbest today. This is the one ordered in September. I ordered two more a couple days ago when they had the flash sale and they were $29. I actually think two more will cover all the projects I want to do with 4 wheels, and the rest will wait for the 6x6 to come out.

I really think this is going to show the powers that be that there is indeed a market for trucks and soft skinned vehicles. I know bringing a new RC product to market can be loaded with miles of red tape, but I hope we'll see trucks and jeeps being introduced without electronics and we put in our own ESC and servo and whatever else we can dream up. To be perfectly honest, I'm not that thrilled by the thought of battling a tank at danville, but I think running around there with a support vehicle, maybe an ambulance that can reset other tanks by IR, would be a real hoot.

Sounds like GearBest did a mass exodus of trucks this week. Got mine today as well. Steering in my opinion is useless, but expected on a $40 toy. Cool little platform for some variants once the driveline/steering gets modded. Wish the tire compound was just a tad softer, may have to see if I can slap on some 1/16 short course wheels and tires.

Anyone have a general 'go-to place' to get truck tires?

eBay is a bit expensive.

Going to be a little tough to find scale looking tires in the same spec. The stock tires are even a bit small for 1/16. May look into 1/14 size to see if it'll work, we would have a wider selection. Some traxxas 1/16 as well.
