Did you have to pay shipping on those?

Thanks for the video! Now I really can't wait until one of mine shows up so I can start printing some parts for it.

Oh man, I completely missed this thread until now. This thing looks like it will be perfect to complete my Bruder conversion.

Has anyone been able to source just parts for this? If not, it's price is well within my scavenge budget.

You should be able to make pass through axle for a 6x6 fairly easy if you are willing to sacrifice one truck. I've done it a few times with other trucks ( tamiya, axial, losi)

Just one? Like that's gonna last.

So far I think at least an ambulance and a tanker, and maybe a tow truck. I have heard HL is working on better steering control, as in servo. I can't wait to see the 6x6, but I think it's going to be both more sophisticated and much more expensive.

Considering I want to use the internals for my tank hauler, yeah it won't last long at all. lol

I'm about to cancel both my orders. Banggood just emailed me wanting me to pay $16 shipping and GearBest I haven't heard from at all. Both of these sites will never get my business ever again.

I'm in no rush so I'll give Gear Best some more time. As of now Gear Best is saying ship out around Oct. 9-12. If no word by Halloween I'll cancel as well. Also thanks to Gary for the vids on his. Guessing we'll see some awesome mods and conversions on this platform.

Vid on replacing the electonics and installing a steering servo. Don't think I'll go the cheapo route with the steering servo and go for a HItec micro with some torque and possibly metal gears. Also try and get it a proper ackermann steering linkage behind the axle, not in front.

Gesh you guys. Servos, linkage... GEARS! You guys are gettin' after it, huh?

I haven't even charged my battery yet. (lol) Been assembling a Ludwig cab for it since my G1 'Hunting Panther' consumes the majority of my bench PLUS the arrival of my 1/12 CROSS XC6, I have no room for the little truck.

But I can't wait to have a truck that will look like a British WWII vehicle!

(and what to do with Gear Best, huh)

Please note that your link is to a 1/10th scale truck and the thread is on 1/16th scale trucks.
That is probably why the cost.

One of mine just arrived from Bang Good yesterday. They shipped the other one via a different carrier. I'm sure it will show up sometime soon. I did eyeball the length of the drive train as opposed to the length on the MRAP M-ATV. The drive shafts will need to either be replaced with longer ones or made longer in order to work with the M-ATV. The MRAP tires will not fit on the trucks rims. They are much larger than the truck tires. I haven't gotten my new Maxxpro kit. It's supposed to arrive on Tuesday. Once that kit arrives I'll start a thread for those two conversions.
