Default Looking for some tracks

If anyone out there has a set of Mato Sherman tracks they would sell, can you send me a pm? I am not looking for the metal tracks. I want the original ones that came on the plastic M4A176. Also in need of a Tamiya Sherman turret ring gear. I can get that from the AAF, but figured I'd ask here first. Thanks.

Matomart carries the old plastic pad track still for that old plastic tank. I bought some. Sad thing is, the track pins on a whole bunch of pads bent while being inserted at the factory so the allow slack between the pads in those spots. So they don't track well and jamb on the sprocket. I was so pissed and sent emails to matomart and got the same "Go pound sand" response I got from them regarding the other issues. The pads are sort of hollow so too much pressure will bend the pin into the pad and then the distance between it and the next pad gets wider.
I was hoping to use them on all my builds but I just cant waste my money like that.

Really? I never had an issue with the one set I had years back. Ran it a lot too. But that doesn't meant he quality hasn't gone to crap...I didn't feela need to use metal tracks because those were so good...at least at the time.

Yeah I agree sort of. The plastic M4a1 runs them very well. However bought from the parts bins, I suspect they are the rejects. I really tried the mato and taigen sprockets hoping to get them to track. I decided that I would either have to buy a few sets and piece good tracks together or source new track pins and repin them. Sadly, an end connector fell off the mato m4a1 I detailed out and sold last week so I had to pull one from those spare set of tracks I had in the box. So that ended the resurrection idea unless I find that EC on my bench somewhere, which might still happen....
Others have told me they were not able to get the mato tracks to stay on their tanks with varying trials, so that info combined with my experience, I gave up on them.
Really wish taigen would make a track like that. Or mitosal.

Taigen only makes that type of track, however it is metal instead of plastic or rubber. It really buggs me but that is just how it is. Im praying somebody will make plastic or rubber chevron tracks for taigens some day. Even plastic tracks would work due to the overall weight of the taigen shermans.

Default Beware of Mato

I'd be careful dealing with Mato. They totally messed me over on a purchase and refused to admit it was their fault. PayPal ruled in my favor but it is a real hassle going through it. Very unprofessional on the part of Mato.
