Default 90mm GMC M36

Quick and easy. Removed the armored first aid boxes and moved the spare track racks so spare links actually fit, and relaced front lifting lugs with Schumo Sherman ones.. Added Shapeways grouser racks and Axels antenna.
Just shot the base od.

I didn't realise mato had released this, or is it a bash of their m10 and m36b1?

Now, where should the TC go? Pics aren't exactly clear. Behind the gunner?

Did they put bearings of some kind or even bushings on this one? Been eyeing it, but other people's bad dealings with Mato have me hesitant.

They listened. Bearings or bushings, not sure which, I didn't break it down. But I see them.

Do the wheels ride on a cast axle shaft or on a screw?

Haven't worked on her in a while. Took her out today, and managed to get the right track to jump the sprocket. Gotta figure out the proper tension.

Great looking M36. They (Mato) have one based on the M10 chassis and one based on the Sherman M4A3 chassis (M36B1). Very cool model. Sorry to hear of your mothers passing. They even have an M10!

Yep. I have the M10 also. It's actually a gas powered M10A1. I have to do some modifications to the engine deck and hull backplate and change the engine sound to convert it to a proper diesel M10.

Still can't get the tension right. More? Less?

Looks good, but man, those things have got to heavy, i really prefer a metal lower and plastic hull and turret.
