Default 7th Grade Panther Project

Hello all:

I wanted to share my son's 7th grade school project. He did a video and still picture presentation on the build, finishing and history of the Panther.

I am proud to say he did the entire build and finish himself. He used a mix of AK Interactive and Vallejo paints, Army Painter Yellow Sand primer as a base coat and AKI yellow wash. I assisted after it was turned in by doing some of the detail work with him. We did add stowage to the front and turret but I didn't take any pictures of that.

He is excited to get it on the field at AAF on the 30th. I'll add a few in action shots once she hits the clay in Va.

See ya,

Pat

Excellent work. It's great to see an up and coming RC Tanker like your son. I hope he kicks ass at Danville

Your son has completed a very cool Panther. A really outstanding model, history, school project! Awesome. Well done dad, your guidance is priceless.

That's a very nice job on the painting and weathering! I wish I would have had these kinds of models when I was in 7th grade! Looks like he has the right tools - great paints, airbrush etc. Good to see the younger generation interested in this sort of modeling!

Bret: I promised him if he got a good grade on it we would attend the June 30th event so we are making a week of it. Gettysburg on Monday, Antietam on Tuesday, VA Beach Wed, Military Aviation Museum (Military Aviation Museum ? Historic WWI & WWII Hangars, Aircraft, Airshows, and Adventure! on Thursday and AAF Friday - Sunday .

Thanks for the feedback and comments; I will pass them along to him. I know he is excited about running it. Maybe I can have my KT back now.
