Default Würzburg Riese radar 1/16 scale

I realize it is not a tank... however I think it's quite cool!

Since I saw this some while( years) back and discovered the fellow behind it, Olaf Lang, I wanted one of these as it's most unusual and quite striking in it's appearance. This is the Radar system known as the Würzburg radar or Würzburg Riese ("Würzburg Giant " ) in 1/16 scale. Olaf has just finished his latest version of this kit and it's pretty spectacular. I am not certain of the numbers of kits he will make, most likely on demand and it isn't inexpensive but when you see it below in photos, well you make up your own mind. The radar dish has a certain ethereal affect about it unique unto itself. Surely one of the more unique 1/16 scale models you'll see. The dish is about 18" in diameter and the overall height with the dish as seen is about 23". The model can be rotated but the dish is more or less fixed.

That's very cool, Jerry. Have you got a link for where one can purchase this wonderful item?

Useless info: it was once sold through a German site which unfortunately is no more (An-Bri-RC-Modellbau).

Yes, just so. I purchased a number of things from them, in fact I made a post here about it then and how I missed buying it before
they stopped their business...they had a number of interesting diorama items.
