I used several batteries over the speed testing, Sorry I don’t know who manufactured the batteries, but the branded labels ranged from Venom, Traxxas, Dynamite, Reaction and E-flite. Most on the newer side and reasonable quality mid priced batteries. The charger used was my older yet tried and true Triton by Great Planes (TowerHobbies).

Performance was similar between the battery types. None of the NiMh proved any better then another and the same was mostly true for the Lipo batteries. The exception was a few small helicopter Lipos to see if their low weight made any difference in speed(they did not). Since these had low capacity to begin with their output dropped off faster then the rest and performed really no better then the 7.2 NiMh batteries.
