Abrams in sand movie
I was inspired by Rich and the desert maneuvers thread he posted, so I dug up this footage from last summer and made a "tank in the desert" movie.
Enjoy.

Sweet, good fun.
I wish i could have showed off my HL Abrams bouncing across the tops of the dunes. When i say dunes i mean dunes. They were made from people trying to off road there so they are long curved multiple hill and trough deep. Lots of fun and challenging.

Thanks guys. I did break a track link on one of those turns, but we always carry spare links on the tank, so it was no problem to fix it in the field. You can see the new track link in the final scene when the turret is turning.

Pa Co Chu Puk, solid video and great looking Abrams. I'm curious where you got the decals for your barrel? Did you print them yourself? The side skirt marking looks like a vinyl decal, but is the barrel decal a waterslide?
I'm looking for waterslide decals with nomenclature text, such as that on the top of the CITV.

All the lettering is spray painted on with stencils I made, and the side skirt symbols are made from electrical tape. There are no decals on Dragon.
They are not Tamiya tracks, they are plastic Heng Long tracks. I have metal tracks for it, but they were not on it that day.
