Default Plastic tracks for Taigen Panther?

Hello all, I recently bought a Taigen Panther lower hull with metal tracks and want to change them to plastic, anyone know where I could get them from or if the HL Panther plastic tracks would work on the Taigen? Thank you.

I have a spare set of Tamiya plastic tracks but not sure if they will mesh correctly.

I have a set of the taigen plastic Panther tracks. Where are you? You might try heng Longs store at AliExpress, or MatoMart if you want brand new ones. I'm pretty sure they can be had for around $15.

Thank you both for the quick responses.

I live in Tucson Arizona. Thank you for the offer for your tracks and letting me know where to get new ones.

Going to see if I can get new ones where you recommended first. Thank you.

If you decide to try Heng Long Plastic tracks you need to know that the tracks for the Panther"G" and the JagdPanther are different from the other Panthers in the range. .

I did not know that, but the tracks I have are from the panther G and the JP.

If you are looking for metal ones we have the winter JP metal ones on sale here in the US. I might be able to find you a plastic set but I wouldn't recommend it if possible as they weren't very durable.

If you have the metal ones, why would you want to down grade to plastic?

Don't forget that the only difference between the Panther Tracks and the Tiger 1 tracks is the number of links (The Tiger 1 has more)

I believe the Tiger tracks are wider than the panther tracks.

Now I'll have to test that and see if tiger tracks will fit on a panther sprocket. Stay tuned.

The T1 and Panther tracks cannot be swapped between the two. The Panther drive wheel is much thinner than the T1 and also the teeth placement in the track are not the same either.

Cool, now I don't have to check them. I had a feeling that they weren't interchangeable.

Unless your Panther is really a pan tiger.

Thank you so much Crius! was able to order from Matomart yesterday. Now I can cut down on the weight and get more battery time.

Can't wait to have it done soon, ordered the upper hull IR version from Taigen USA.
Gearboxes from Roland in Germany (Modellspiegel), this is my favorite gearboxes.

Hope to have it done for LA Battle April 5th. But I'll bring it to it show off (with what I have done) at my club's (Desert Armor Korps) upcoming battle March 21st.

Can't wait to battle those arrogant Allies in Phoenix with it......ONLY JOKING GUYS!

Everyone in my club KNOWS I am a Panther fanatic! LOL

Duane (I'm the one with the glasses/smiling and skinny)

P.S. Sorry can't post links, have to have done 10 posts.
