A post, a joke post I made earlier titled ‘stocking stuffer’ which consisted of a url to a 1:1 scale T-34 for sale in the UK was removed by a watchful moderator.

as I replied to it, I was already looking, guess the moderator doesnt have much sense of humor


If I had such a machine, I would NOT sell it at all, I would just use it occasionally for a ride around here

Our moderators are very, very serious about the rule that says there's no selling stuff on this forum. When I first saw your thread, Jerry, I kind of wondered if it might get hit for just that reason. I once had an entire thread removed just because I mentioned that I might be thinking about selling a few things. I didn't mention any particular items or any prices, but that didn't matter, the thread disappeared within 5 minutes of me posting it. You have to be very, very careful that you don't even give the appearance that you're trying to sell anything. You've already seen what happens if you don't.

As for the thread, if it really was totally rebuilt right before it was parked that might be a very good deal. One more thing to add to my lifetime wish list.
