Uganda is a very, very different place, unlike anything most of us are used to, so this doesn't really surprise me. Even though it's technically illegal to sell your children in Uganda, it happens a lot and no one is ever prosecuted. They also have one of the highest levels of unreported rapes (reporting a rape usually turns out worse for the victim and rapists are rarely convicted). It's also not a good place to be gay, as that is illegal and can result in the death penalty, by stoning. Like I said, very, very different from what most of us are used to.

Sorry for going off topic, but the differences in how people live around the world kinda fascinates me. One planet, so many different ways to live.
