I'm working on my Heng Long T-34. Here is some progress:

I am going to add two large louvers under the panel as this is what you see on original tanks.

I've painted them green so now you can hardly see them. But I wanted the suggestion of "something there" in case you could see through the screen in the right light.

It looks good, the detail under the mesh adds quite a bit of much needed depth.
