Default M4A3 Sherman Exhasut Diffuser

So on the Heng Long Sherman, the exhaust diffuser grill on the back of the tank is solid in the front. So no air or exhaust can actually pass through the diffuser.

I believe it is supposed to pass through it

Do you agree?

Yes, it’s just a sheet metal grill of louver to direct the exhaust backwaters from the exhaust pipes.

The original design before the diffuser caused the Sherman to kick up a lot more dust saying, "Here I am"!
