Default I know this is kind of an out there question...

Can the Tamiya 1/16 M1A2 Abrams lower metal hull be modified to fit and be used on the lower hull of the 1/16 Heng Long M1A2 Abrams rc tank to reinforce and strengthen the stock plastic lower hull of the Heng Long M1A2? I know about the HL lower metal of the HL but, they are very expensive. Any ideas or thoughts? Thanks in advance.

You would need the entire Tamiya suspension, road wheels, idler and mount to use the Tamiya hull. Even then, there may be other Tamiya parts you might need. The Tamiya uses a torsion bar suspension and the HL uses a torsion spring.
