Hey Everyone,
Just joined and want to say hi. I own one Tamiya Tank, the Pershing.
One my relatives ran it off the coffee table[:@]!! Fortunately it looks better than you might think. I'm going to need parts but I lost my instruction manual.
Basically alot of the little decorative pieces on the outside broke off, which I can glue back, however the headlights are smashed, bulbs and all. Both sides. Also, I charged it up last night after inadvertently leaving the power switch on for several days. Batts must have been totally drained. Now the cannon is not working (flash, recoil , sound, tank jerk, nothing) and machine gun is not working(light, sound).
Could the cannon and machine gun not be working because of the front lights being damaged?
Is there some kind of reset button on the DMD?

I have the fittings for the lights, and the frames too. and the horn & guard on the right fender as well. Or... you can get the metal ones from BYA. You'll need to buy the lens sprue though, but its cheap from Karen @ AAF.
The damaged lights shouldn't affect the rest of the system unless the wires got shorted. Then again, thats what the bulbs are... shorts across the line. Have you tried a full system reset, including checking all the plugs, resetting the DMD, and the whole deal?
You need any other parts, and can't ID 'em, send pics of the 'damaged' tank. I got some sprues for a project, and got a fair # of spares.
