Default More pleading from a newbie-

Sgt. Stryker here-

What accessories are compatable with the Hen Long M26 Pershing?
What accessories are available for the Hen Long M26 Pershing?

I popped off the two jerry cans from the model and also the helmets. I made the hole for
the MG bigger and am currently reading on how to take the tank apart.

Fot the older vets of this forum why not make such a List for all the Hen Long Tanks
and the others as well. Yes I know it would take time, but think of the resource you
would be creating.

I am severely limited as I know nothing about r/c [except I can attack two malignant
cats [wife's] when they act up]. but practice daily with the Pershing.

Was the Pershing ever painted for camoflage or with "Nose Art"? Haven't found anything yet.
Okay enough pleading I am heading bacjk to study the infor sheet for the Pershing.

Thanks for any help-

What kind of accessories do you have in mind, functional or detail? If you buy, it won't be cheap, but the HL Pershing is 1:16 scale like the expensive Tamiyas, so you can buy sprues of parts to add to the tank. You can also make your own added details by using wire to replace the thin plastic handles on the hatches, rolls of green cloth for bed rolls etc. There are 1:18 scale figures from Ultimate Soldier that work nicely to add realism to the tank, since they are very detailed.

If it is durability that you want, there are metal tracks available on-line, metal gears to replace the plastic stock gears, and metal drive wheels, as well.

Check out a few of these sites:

This company will sell almost any part for the tanks that they sell....

Good Luck!

Well, if you're wanting to add 1/16th scale accessories to 'decorate' the tank, [link=http://www.backyardarmor.com/New%20Main.htm]Backyard Armor[/link] is a great place to start.

As far as 'nose art', get the book "Pershing/Patton in action" by Squadron. Pretty affordable and in it will show all the Tiger schemes used on those tanks.

Hope this helps!

Jeff
