Default It's Here!

Okay, so my HL Tiger I came in today, it was waiting for me when I got home from work. After removing all the little foam balls and charging the battery, I got her running and everything works perfectly! (sorry to those who are having troubles...[]).
As has been previously noted, the gun is not that strong, but it is enough to get a yelp from the dog! (kidding!). I have noticed a few things that will need immediate attention.

1) It is WAAAAY too fast! Really needs to be toned down. Proportional control upgrade here I come!
2) The top deck tools and cables will need to be removed and replaced. It's all in the details...
3) Paint is okay, but not quite right. Repaint and weathering?... Oh yes.

One funny thing, my six year old daughter was laying on the floor and I drove the tank up and over her legs and she was laughing and saying it tickled! The thing has power thats for sure! I'm going to make a photo log of all the stuff I do to it in the future. This tank is cool! I love it...[8D]

Well I'm glad to see someone having decent luck. Do me a favor, when you do your proportional control upgrade, make sure you post your progress and steps on that...I think I want to see how it's doen before I tackle it.

Congratulations! [sm=thumbup.gif] Welcome to the surprisingly fun world of RC tanks. I never thought that I would enjoy anything that was not at least as fast as a nitro truck, but tanks now have my full attention.........at least for the moment.

Like Rocketman1959 said, be sure to keep us posted on all of the changes that you make.

Good Luck!
