This is the last photos of the Leopard I will post, http://www.pbase.com/calvinwill/leop...rocks&page=all I took these about a week ago after I cleaned most (but not all) of the mud off the tank. I am in the process of moving back to my home in Calif, it will take about a month, and if there is no word of a new modern 1/16 (Abrams or Challenger) or if its a WWII tank from Tamiya, then I will buy another Leopard.

Calvinwill,
Thanks for putting out such a great effort for all us tank nuts out there!! Would you agree or diagree with these remarks about the Tamiya Leo:
1. On "normal" mode, the tank is a bit slow.
2. On "power" mode, the tank runs at scale speed (45-50mph).
3. The true power of the Leo is when it turns.
4. The tank does not noticable jerk backward during the canon recoil.
Just curious to see what your observations are, since I ran mine today in the old backyard
Thanks!!

Just a note about the "normal" and "power" setting; this only affects the steering motor i.e. low speed or high speed.
The drive motor (forward and bacward) movement is not affected by the setting and maintains ~45mph with either setting.
