Awesome tanks!! M41 . . . hmm. . looks like 1/14 scale compared to the Tiger and Pershing. It's a small tank. BUT, that sure won't keep me from getting one soon!!! Thanks

Well, spill it!
How does it work?
Should we expect about the same quality as the other 1:16 HL tanks?
Does it have smoke and sound?
Is the sound different from that of the Pershing or did they install the same electronics?
It fires the pellets, right?
How about some video footage?!!
Congratulations [sm=thumbup.gif]

Kinda of funny to see a light tank looking almost the same size (bigger?) than a heavy tank [X(]...are the two tanks on the same scale?

www.onwar.com lists
M26 Height 2.78 metres Hull length 8.65 m Width 3.51 m
M41 Height 3.1 m Hull length 5.8 m Width 3.2m
Looks to be the length where they got it wrong.

Something doesn't quite look right on it. It may be the photos giving an optical illusion but the tracks, especially in pics 2-3, look too big for the rest of the tank. It does look too big overall compared to the Pershing.
Remember, the M41 was designed to be airliftable.
Anyway, these tanks were never meant to meet. The M26 was obsolete by the time the M41 rolled on the scene so having them side by side on your backyard battlefield would be historically incongruous [sm=stupid.gif] and you wouldn't have to deal with the Bulldog looking bigger or out-of-scale compared to the Tiger and Pershing, if that truly is the case.

By considering those measurements the tank looks to be too long. Width and height are close enough to the Pershing.
It looks like they must have just taken the Pershing lower hull and added the upper to it. Considering that the proto shots were 6 bogies, it makes sence... They lost the extra bogie but left the tank full length. Notice the extra space between the bogies that the Pershing does not have.
Not a big deal for a lot of us but I am sure someone out there will figure out where its too long and cut it out.
Over all I am estatic over this tank. Soon as Mato has stock I will be doing another order...

Are you going to change the tracks around? They are on backwards just like Themadtanker said. From the front, each tread section has a "V" section that should, well, point down.
Thanks for the video. Does the tank have the same functions were used to seeing on the other HL tanks?

Hi, Wheng Chung!
I could not see the photos you included in your posting of the new Hen Long Walker Bulldog. Any ideas why they wouldn't show?
Thanks!

This tank is for sale on Ebay, but the description does not mention smoke and sound. []

Great.... I see Mato is already offering a "Super version" For a LOT more $$$$$$$. Oh but I see it has 10 speeds? Turrent moves sideways? Dont forget about the "metal" engine... They must have added the "smoke and sound" package to that model. And you gotta love that outrageous shipping cost too..

RE: Heng Long M41 Walker Bulldog, I got one ..
I'm glad to see a new model, but I think that the only way I will buy one is if it has the actual M41 sound, rather than just the "Snow Leopard" electronics.
It seems unlikely to me that the engine and cannon noises are going to be authentic. [&o]

Im guessing the model is NOT a "smoke & sound" version, that Mato adds an existing conversion. May be the Snow Leopard. I could be wrong, but the other M41 on E-Bay dosen't mention any S&S, so who knows.

The Elektronik of the M41 is the same (also the sound) than the Pershing.
Here you can see why i mean the M41 is better on heavy ground (more clearance):
