Here is the new building I'm making...

Next, a bridge...starting on that in a few minutes.

Looks great! Keep it up, more buildings makes battling other tanks all the more fun and challenging.
21st Century toys makes a nice farmhouse and a hayloft that's worth having.

VERY NICE! It looks like you put a lot of hard work into it and the results are great. [sm=thumbup.gif]

Great looking buildings! How long on average does it take you to complete the above one?

Thanks guys!

I cut and built the big building after work...so a couple of hours. One day to add sand for texture...had to let it dry...The next day prime it black...today painted.

Materials...I'm kind of a pack rat so I use whatever I have. The ruined building is 1/2 blue foam insulation...very cheap...cuts easily. The big one is 1/8 paneling (homedepot...50 cents half a panel...bought 4 and foam core board from Wally world (it used to be cheap...the price went up a whole dollar...no longer cost effective).

The shingles are poster board cut into a zillion pieces and glued on. For assembly of everything I used my hot glue gun. To hold it to the base I used gorrila glue. Paints are cheapy wallyworld acrylic...I thinned it with windshield wiper fluid to use in my airbrush. The roof shingles were drybrushed with three different colors.

That's about it...

What could this be?! Started this after I painted the big building....

In an effort to increase traction I used my secret formula...sand and glue to make mud...hope it works. Waiting for the pillars and mud to dry so I can prime it then it is ready for field trials...lol

Out Here.

Paint the guard rails and it's done. Looks better in person...The mud looks blotchy in the pictures.

Hmm. Seems like you acquired a 1/16 Pershing tank just to make your buildings look good, not the other way around...

And they do look GREAT. Exceptional work there.
