Lots of helpful people here and a few staunch Tamiya diehards, don't worry we don't pay them any attention j/k.

Thank you for hearty welcomes, guys!
As for tank clubs in Russia, there's none. Unfortunately...
There are some people who have Alex's big tanks (1/8, 1/6). But the number of these tanks sold in Russia is close to 10 pcs. The rest go abroad.
Tamiya tanks are cheaper in comparison to Alex's but still too expensive for people. I am lucky to have one.
I hope, the quantity of Tamiyas sold in Russia is good enough, but I have no info about their owners. Tried to find some - no use. I am planning to make a website to attract people to this hobby.
WSN and Hen Long are sold well here. These tanks are toys, so most people treat them as toys. I don't think their owners will try to group.
Kubinka is a good place to visit. I hope to go there this summer with my son. Just need time, I have lots of work at the moment.
If you need any photo of a tank, I can make it for you.

Tom,
We don't hate you its just that everyone KNOWS Tamiya is better then HL. (like comparing a Yugo to a Porche)
Kinda mean to keep rubbing salt in the wounds of the HL groupies
Eugene, You may want to check out THQ http://www.rctankhq.com/ they may be able to help you find other tankers in Russia.
I know Bob Hearne from ETO travels there often.
Regards,
James
Owner of
Tamiya M26 Full Option
WSN T34/85 - Converted to Full Option
HL - M1A1 1/24 BB (used to shoot managers at the office

Bod often travels to Sebastopol, Crimea. It was a part of Russia not long ago. Now it belongs to Ukrain. Nevertheless, Sebastopol is considered a Russian city from the very start.
