I just got back from Alabama (visiting the folks) and the CA glue that I used to fill the holes on the deck of my upper hull worked.....in a way.
The hole is definitely permanently filled by the glue. I tapped it with a ball peen hammer (the hammer tells all
) and it held very solidly. It did however leave a dip....the CA sank as it dried. Now, I just have to fill in the sunken area with filler, sand it and paint the thing before reassembly.
I hope I remember how everything goes back together.
