I don't like you anymore Chris , just kidding

1. Owning a Tamiya enables you to easily come up with items for the '101 uses for henlong' thread.
2. Owning a Tamiya shows you are a discerning hobbyist with good taste for real quality.

1. A leading cause of divorce
2. A leading subject of custody hearings
3. A determining factor in commitment/competency hearings
4. A phallic symbol similar to a Ferrari (mine is bigger, more expensive or better than yours syndrome)

Not much different then owning a boat. It's a hole in the ocean that you pour money into.

7) Gettimg in trouble at work for always returning late from lunch due to running your tank in the unpaved lot.

Forgot a couple:

A reason for skipping the house payment
A reason for selling your first born (okay, ONE of the reasons)
A reason for asking your boss for a pay raise which leads to
a reason for looking for a job

The MORE Tamiyas you have acts as a phallic symbol to other Tamiya owners with less tanks than you.(I have 7 HAHA)
The more you spend on upgrades enhances phallic symbolism to other tankers.
You can spend loads of cash on upgrades without the wife noticing you have more stuff.

8. gives your spouse a reason to laugh at you when all of her friends are over. Hey one Tamiya is equal to 11.32 italian made leather hand bags. And you thought they were impressed with your tiger?

But the real question is..... why? Shouldn't you be doing something more productive with all that money my friend?

They make great speed bumps for 1/6th scale tanks. The crunch of plastic as
a 50 pound tank goes over it is very satisfying. Watching a grown man cry has a certain sadistic appeal as well...something you just don't get from a HL owner( only out $50.00 for a crunched tank )
