I thought I was done with my Leo but 2 errors occurred when I first run it!
First, my tank cant turn well. When I try to do it, I hear like the gears are slipping and it would turn only little. No problem with forward and reverse. I dont know if I missed anything but I have one spare? gear (theyre the greenish white plastic gears).
Second, the turrent also wont turn. I also hear likek gears slipping and the whole turret would vibrate hard.
I am desperate. I am not sure what I did wrong.

From: HORSHAM, PA,
without seeing it in person, i suggest you take the gearbox apart and check against manual word by word. it should work.
samething with the turret rotation gearbox, check manual and see if you build right or wrong.
good luck, tom

Like Tom stated, take it apart and make sure everything is in order.
Possible problems I saw during assembly of the drive gearbox were:
1. MG3 and MG4 gears have a similar appearance, but the small diameter portions are different. MG3 is the spare gear you should have left over, I believe.
2. MD4 pins falling out of the shaft after assembly with the MH1 nut. I had one fall out and would not have caught it, had I not seen it on the table.
3. Check that all spacers are in order and that all bearings sit where they should in the gearbox half.
Also, although they look similar in assembly, Spur gear B's end cap and shaft are different than Spur gear A. I almost put a G3 end cap on Spur gear B. Make sure that both are in their proper side, as well. If swapped one will foul the 2nd gear assembly in front of it (on the steering gear side!).
Hope this helps.

As for the turret, I found the culprit to be a loose screw.
Thanks for the replies. I guess I do have to take the hull apart. Any easy way of taking the links out to be able to get the gearbox out?
