Wow! How is the scale this time around? I hope it's not as big as their "Snow Leopard" or "Tiger 1". The Panzer III was a light tank, a third smaller than a Tiger 1. Thanks for sharing!!!

Looks like Terrazo flooring, popular in South Florida in the 1950s and 1960s. The tank looks great! I'll definitely buy a couple of them. Didn't the original Panzer platoon structure include a couple of these to fight alongside the Tigers? Tom, tell HL we need more frequencies, 4 is not enough, 20 would be nice, please. At present I can only operate 7 Heng Long tanks at the same time using Heng Long's 4 channels and 3 others.

I will also say it looks accurate, dimensionally, for whatever scale it's in. It looks on the big side of 1/16 based on the one photo that has a human hand in it (by comparison) but that may be an optical illusion.
This one, even though the thick-barreled "main armament" (the airsoft gun), might be out of scale it could easily be the Ausf L model which mounted the 5cm L/60 gun.
It looks like they stuck Walker Bulldog tracks to the front if it.
Aside from all that, I like it.

EDIT: I changed my estimation of which version it might be. From Ausf N to Ausf L.

Hi Tom
Is it an 'A' variant as the suspension mounts look way wrong for a production version. The production tanks had three sets of double bogies a bit like a sherman in layout but this seems to have 6 separate arms which was more like the prototype. Also bolt on armour on front was usually on later versions like the Ausf L and K but this would be easy to sort unlike the suspension.
Cheers

No Icecreamslick I am referring to the front plate where the hull machine gun is situated. It has spaced armour on it which did not appear until the later variants once the Germans started losing tanks to improving allied designs. It shows up mainly in the first and fourth photos. It looks well detailed and well done but not correct for the suspension type. Only Tom can answer whether this is a production version from HL or a test one that may be sorted when it hits the streets.
The mantlet is also a later variant type as the earlier ones did not have the plate on the front either. TO be honest, the whole model looks reasonably right apart from the suspension. The suspension however is correct if it were a prototype (Ausf A) variant.

> about the origin of those pics(china) ,
look at the floor and fingers on pic(link) below :
and yes ,it looks good till now...beside that little top turret detail ,storage box cover is smaller on mine.
(little flat space between cupola and cover is missing)about 6 inch(1:1 size)
their is a difference with my model of pz3ausf-L
searching for real pics to know witch one is off ...

Agreed. It looks like the Ausf L.
I notice the metal barrel now that you mention it. Paint chipped off near the mantlet and the very end (muzzle) appears to be bare aluminum. I'm glad they did this instead of trying to sheath it in plastic.
