Default bulldog airsoft

Hey its me again. My airsoft still isn't acting right. the longest shot is 7 ft and the shortest is 5 inches out of about 20 bb's. Is there anything I can try or do because I'm really not ready to get an airsoft replacement. Also I've ran the tank about 35 battery charges and the tank is pretty slow. I know its a tank and not a racecar but it's probably got half the speed it did out of the box.

hi ,
this question have been answered more than 10 times here in older posts.
give swatdiver a break
joking
swathdiver (rcu member) is a conaisseur about the h.l. airsoft system, he has doubled the shooting power [X(]

seam like some shooting unit have, inside the barrel,
an o-ring that tends to fall out
of place .
mine have shot over 2000 bb,still shoot good.
it should shoot through a piece of paper at about 1 feet distance .

probably someone will post you a link about the shooting problem.

batteries power do not affect the shooting power since it is a loaded spring that shoots , it only affect the time between each shoots(cranking time).

something is blocking the way out ,
if it is new, return it since it is the worst problem to fix on the tank(complete dismantle)[:@].
it is the same shooting unit ,bulldog or tiger.

If you're not ready to replace or inspect the unit, what do you expect to happen? You've got to open the tank up, take the turret apart, the airsoft unit apart and inspect the parts.

Mark all wires, get your soldering hot and have at it. Like I said before, I suspect a broken breech or missing bushing. If that's the case, you'll need to buy a new unit.

You have a couple of options, you can buy replacement units in pairs, you can buy VS airsoft units and transfer all the guts into the HL housings for nearly double the performance and finally, do both.

If you shoot a lot, you will break breeches. I've broken nearly all of mine. Many people have the rubber bushing fall out, this is because of the thin diameter of the aluminum barrel. I've upgraded to a brass Systema airsoft barrel, outside diameter is about the same, the inner of course is less and this thicker end provides the bushing more support to keep it in place during firing.

Learn to solder then. It's not very hard to do. There's lots of online tutorials (I have read some of them to sharpen my skills). There's little risk involved, at least from my perspective because I invested very little in the tank itself.

Give it a go. If you mess up, we (the forum) will help you sort it out. You cannot really go wrong. [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

hey kuhndog 599 have you tested your bulldog offroad yet if so then how does it run. With the airsoft problem the bb systems are banned in australia so we dont have to worry about that problem anyway best of luck fixing your tank and id say give the soldiring a go.

kind regards pantiger man.

oh yeah i've tested it offroad. the suspension is a lot more "broken in" than the panthers. I found out that my brother has had a soldering kit for a couple years. He won't solder because of the lead stuff and he won't let me use the kit either. My parents probably won't let me get one. the only reason my brother did was because it was a christmas gift.

I'm gonna have to agree with bennyncatha. It sounds like your bro and parents are being WAYYYY over protective here.. If they're that scared of a little solder, maybe offer to wear rubber gloves and goggles.

Most of the newer solder these days have little to no lead in it any more. I am a aircraft electrician and all of the solder we now use has to be lead free because of the tight EPA restriction for the use and handling of HAZMAT.
