Default panther idler wheel

hey, i had my first track problem for my panther... well the idler wheel came off. there is a screw inside the idler wheel and threads where the wheel attatches to the tank. so how do i screw the screw in? there isn't any access to the screw head that i know of.

Hi Kuhndog, if it is the front drive sprocket that has came off you have to lever off the inner circle of the sprocket with a flat head screwdriver if it is the rear idler you have to lever both parts of the idler apart again with a flat head screwdriver just be careful so as not to break anything[&o] hope this helps

Cheers Ian

Since the running gear is Tiger I running gear, I am told that the screw is hidden by a "hub cap" that is glued over the screw. This has to be pried off. Care should be taken so as not to ruin this piece.

Since I am not a Tiger owner, I would await confirmation and details on the best method for removal.
EDIT: and I can see you just got that confirmation. I need to respond faster I reckon...

i think you're right harq - it does look like the hub cap isn't part of the original idler.
