1/25 scale Panther G converted
Well this morning I had some free time and I found an old RC sub that gave me some cheap electronics for one of my Panthers..
So I hooked everything up and now I have a decent RC Panther! My Panther has the Tamiya gearbox with the two different gear ratios, I picked this tank because of this gearbox and the motor size
would be perfect for the electronics. Now after getting things going I made a homemade 4 battery pack C-cell for this tank and the speed is not very fast..alittle slower than my Type 90 HL Tank but it runs good enough and will climb easy. Come up in early Dec(9-12) I should have the HL Electronics for my other two tanks which have the better gearbox and motors..
I will have video and pictures soon of this setup..
I have taken it outside already and it cuts through the grass with no problems!

We had our first snow this morning..only a dusting..maybe 1/16 of an inch of snow but I tokk the Panther out and had some fun in it....
mental note: put extra siding on the tank..it will sling snow inside the tank!

Well let's put it this way, the suspension works well over grass and concret...it climbs over shoes and pillows and stuff in the floor...snow was nothing to it..

UPDATE
Broke two gears of the Tamiya gearbox..dumb thing that happened whiel I was trying to fix a problem with glue...got super glue on the output shaft and needless to say it froze right up and stripped two gears..this gearbox is toast now. [] I can see if I have any thing that can replace the gears that broke but if not then I need to buy another gearbox..
over all this tank has worked great until now.

Why not make the lower hull sponsons? it would add to the realism of the subject and prevent almost all dirt from getting in. I have one of these 1/25 panthers. How well does the torsion bar suspension act over tough terrain?
